The project supported the conduction of a media training, prior to the national monsoon forum, in cooperation with the Regional Integrated Multi-Hazard Early Warning System (RIMES). The training aimed to enhance the reporting of seasonal climate forecasts and related climate information to potential users and the general public by building the capacity of national journalists to better report seasonal climate forecasts and related information. The increased access and understanding of climate forecats by potential users will enhance their utility and enable users to take better decisions based on adequate information.
